Rental Terms & Conditions

Rush Order

Rush orders are available but cannot be placed online. If you’d like to place a rush order, please email our support team at menswearroom@outlook.com or visit a local store to process your reservation.

Style or Size Changes

We want you to look your best for your event! Style and size changes cannot be made online after your rental order has been placed but can be handled by contacting our support team via email or by visiting a local store. Change order fees apply if the requested style/size change is made less than 14 days before the event date; however, no changes can be made if your original items have already shipped.

 

Any permissible changes that raise the price of the complete rental package will be charged in full at the time of the change, in addition to any applicable change order fees. For more details regarding costs, refer to the Additional Charges section below.

 

Authorization of Reservation Cost & Settlement

Online customers must submit valid payment information for authorization to secure a reservation. The full rental amount will be charged only at the time the rental ships. Customers are responsible for updating any changes to payment information by contacting our support team. Orders will not ship if the payment method on file is not valid or cannot be charged at the time of shipment; we are not liable for any failure or delays in such shipments.

Shipping

Shipping is free to all United States addresses. We do not ship to Puerto Rico. For orders shipping to a customer, expect your rental to arrive approximately 4 days before your event. For orders being picked up in-store, you will be notified via email when the rental arrives; expect it to be available for pick-up approximately 3 days before your event. We are not responsible for any delays caused by shipping carriers or that are otherwise outside of our reasonable control.

Refund Policy

Refunds must be requested through our support team or at any Men’s Wearroom location within 180 days after the event date. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment. If we cannot process the refund back to the original form of payment, or if there are insufficient funds in the register for original cash payments, you may receive your refund in the form of store credit (gift card), or a check will be issued from our corporate offices within 10 business days. Any amount refunded or credited will be reduced by the pro rata amount of any rewards certificates, discounts, or other dollar-off promotions used toward the rental.

Return Date Rules

To avoid late fees, you must return your rental: 1) to a Men’s Wearroom store during regular operating hours the day after the event date; or 2) if your order was shipped to you, drop it off at the mail carrier shipping center indicated on the free-shipping label we provide.

Property Left in Rental

We are not responsible for any personal property left in a returned rental garment or garment bag.

Limitation of Liability

At the time of rental pick up or delivery, please allow adequate time to review and try on your rental to ensure accuracy and fit. Our total liability for any claim or litigation arising from or related to the rental garments is limited to the total amount actually paid by the customer for the applicable rental.

Additional Charges

  • Damage and Handling Fee (mandatory and non-refundable): $12.00 per order. Covers minor repairs, inspection, quality control, and processing. If garments are damaged beyond repair or not returned, you will be charged the full replacement cost.

  • Rush Order Fee: $40.00 per order. Applies to wedding party members (committed <14 days before event) or individuals (committed <7 days before event).

  • Style or Size Change Fee: $20.00 per order (for changes made <14 days before event).

  • Late Return Fee: $20.00 per day. Accrued daily until returned or up to the full replacement cost.

  • Cancellation Fee/No-Shows: $40.00 per wedding group or $20.00 per individual order. Online orders may not be cancelled once shipped.

Complete Package Pricing

Complete rental package prices include coat, pants, shirt, tie, cummerbund or vest, shoes (including basic socks), and jewelry. Pricing is based on the package price for the coat style selected. Individual item prices may be deducted if not ordered, except for coats and pants which cannot be removed from online orders. Prices do not include the mandatory $12.00 Damage and Handling Fee or any applicable taxes, rush, change, or late fees.

Extended Rental Pricing

Extended rental options are available by contacting our support team. Prices are calculated based on the length of the rental period:

  • Under 7 days: No added charge.

  • 7 to 12 days: 1.5x standard rental price.

  • 13 to 18 days: 2x standard rental price.
